There's a big conference of beer producers. At the end of the day, all of the presidents of all beer companies decide to have a drink in a bar. The president of 'Budweiser' orders a Bud, the president of 'Miller' orders a Miller Lite, Adolph Coors orders a Coors, and the list goes on. Then the waitress asks Arthur Guinness what he wants to drink, and much to everybody's amazement, Mr. Guinness orders a Coke! "Why don't you order a Guinness?" his colleagues ask. "Naah. If you guys won't drink beer, than neither will I."

That sounds nasty - do you get Smithwichs over there? REAL Ale. It's also brewed less than a mile from where I live.
Mark You're from the GB area, no? You ought to appreciate an ale that is darker than the heart of Satan himself. ARROGANT BASTARD ALE > ALL OF YOU PUSSIES http://www.arrogantbastard.com/images/intro.gif |

I think I've had that before. theres a place down in one of the casinos on the Mississippi coast that brews its own beer in house. the best is to go down when they're cleaning out the brewry and get the bottom of the barrell stuff. i have a friend that works down there, he lets me know when they do that. |

Yeah it sure looks tasteful and sophisticated. Everyone knows the best drink in the world comes from Europe. Everyone in Europe knows the best drink comes from Ireland. Everyone in IRELAND knows that the best ale is Smithwicks. Did I mention I'm from IRELAND?
Smithwicks is ALE, Guinness is STOUT. Like comparing chalk and cheese. Mark whats your opinion of killians then? |
