what the weight of the blacktop SR20 vs the RB25?



I'm sure the teams in the JGTC do some serious stuff though, hence the machining of the block...

i have no idea about the sr20 wieght.



they machined so much off the block because the engine is so heavy, the article is kinda funny, engine wieght is thier biggest problem, they put the radiators in the trunk and stuff too

My friend went the route of the SR20 into his 240. If I was in his shoes I would have done the RB25. I just have this allergic reaction to 4-cylinders...

but sr20DET is a direct drop in. Tranny lines up, bolt holes already exist you just pull your engine and put in the engine from clip and thats it...



RB25 requires a lot more works

i thought about an sr20 s13 after i crashed my fd but it was just too much work, i wish the ka was better

but it isn't that much work... it's easier thenputting in a 20B.



the key is to get the whole front clip so you can get all the fasteners and the ECU too

nah its the same amount of work as the 20b, same costs too almost
