you guys are funny....

the RB is good, but not necessary for the goals of many nissan owners. vosko's s13 w/ SR will be able to make a TOTALLY streetable 350whp day in day out. weighs less than RB. parts for SRs are now as easy to get as b18c parts. easier maybe.

the CA is an older design than the SR. they stopped CA18DET production in 1990. it can rev much higher than an SR, but has it's down points such as .2 liters and inevitably being much older.

the 2jz is a brute. you rx7 guys should know

the RB is just a more sophisticated engine that revs smoother and higher while giving up .4 liters.

not everyone in the wacky world of modified sports cars is after MAX power. i wouldnt run a t78 if you paid me. i value my power curve and good response.

s14 SRs btw are really no better than s13 SRs design wise. the vtc is usually disabled for serious race applications.

******* VOSKO's car is going to own! his driving skills... that reamins to be seen.

his FD was borderline perfect drift car. maybe not for a beginner however, that much i can admit.

if vosko got cams and intake manofold he could make over 400whp with his turbo. the SR will take the abuse. there are a few people on nissan boards pushing 550whp on stock blocks. metal head gaskets and arp studs get the job done.

g dripht- are you ever gonna have vosko's old FD done???

thats like saying "hey you need some guy from america to tell us about mustang engines because he lives in america"

anyways.....who cares
I didn't say he owned them.

I simply stated he would have good input on this topic since he probably has/knows people with experience who have messed up their RB blocks.

I realize what they're website says.

Hot Rod had an article recently where they compare the Solaras with Warren Johnsons Pro-Stock car. Ara stated there they were doing 1700 or so, but couldn't put it down on the strip yet.

Even Johnson snidely points out the turbo car makes a lot more power but still can't guarantee a win over him.
