Well I replaced my coolant cap at the thermostat with the one I ordered from Mazdatrix (that's the good news... and I got it FAST...), But now I have a leak. It appears to be at the base of the gasket.

(I probably should have ordered the 89-91 neck with no cap on it).

So my question is anyone know where to get a gasket for this locally? Is it a standard item or is this another Mazdatrix part?

You can get the gasket from Mazda, I have part number #1757-15-173A on my reciept, a whopping .68 cents. It isnt a gasket with the tape on one side like the one that comes with the thermostat kit. I paid $12.20 for the thermostat kit from Mazda, part # 8AF1-15-171-9U. I used QuickSilver Pefect Seal on the gasket and threads for the bolts, its something used on boat engines, I think the automotive equivilant is Gasket Tack from permatek.

I thought it was Manny, Joe, and Jack. You don't HAVE to buy the gasket paper. You could always use...SILICONE!!!
