Why would they need volunteers without aids to test the antivirus?
What they do not tell you in the article is that they mainly use people that are testing negative for HIV but who are at a very high risk to contract HIV. They are usually sex workers and such. This is so they have a population of people that are very susceptible to get HIV to see if the vaccine will prevent it from happening over a period of time. The vaccine will not help anyone who already has HIV or AIDS.

well other than the fact that they can tell that someone is infected with aids...the vaccine is to protect non infected peeps to get infectizzled with teh unprotected sex...dont ask me to take part in the "lets see if it works" part of the whole process...well...id need pics of the infected party before hand.
