T2 motor in my gxl

yeah how much would it cost to put a t2 motor in my gxl.... if its more expensive then just buying a t2 i think ill just buy one but i dunno and im gonna save up and get that 4000 dollar body kit too =)

You could probably get everything you would need for about $2-3K.

What body kit do you want thats $4000? I'd work on getting your car fast first, then make it look pretty. I love beating up on the hondas around here with body kits, but little or no performance mods. It's fun ruining someone's ego!

if i don't pickup a T2 soon. i might actually do the swap as long as 13bace can do it in like 2 days :smilewinkgrin:

come on you know those credit card commercials how long to put in a haltech along with convert to T2 rear end tranny and engine :sigh:

Removing your motor and swapping the transmission and rear should take a day, but remember that you also need the halfshafts and driveshaft.



Installing the new motor and Haltech should take another day if you have everything you need.

mel has a stock t2 turbo and gaskets and front cover he is gonna sell me like next week and he knows a guy that has the rest of the parts so hes gonna hook me up!
