yeah, but the biggest difference between the 13b-re and rew is the ports. So couldn't you just match the rew ports and have the same power as an fd (with the same boost)?

Have you seen a REW next to a 13BT?? The REW ports are huge and that is stock. It also seems the port timing is slighly different too.



Now if your talking RE yes it has nice porting too but I didn't have a RE fall into my lap.



I was able to get this engine complete for $2200. It has 22k miles on it. I saw it in the car and got to run it. I couldn't pass it up. I was gonna put it in a FD but decided since I have so much into the suspension on my TII I may as well put it there. My TII weighs in at 2690 lbs before this swap. I think it will be lighter still. This car will give a lot of FD's a good run.

Even my RE didnt exactly go as planned. Im doing it the hard way, running FD twins on the an FD ecu. Little stuff always comes up after you bolt the motor in to slow you down.

i think i'd rather put a 20B in a TII than do all that work
