how would turbo rotors perform in an NA application, with say some porting??

Without a turbo you'll get lower performance. The Na rotors can handle alot of boost with the right tuning--standalone ECU, etc.

You have to have both the fuel and timing correct, but an often negelected area is intake temperatures. Those have to be low as well.

how much lower performance?? I was thinking of maybe huge porting with low comp rotors and adding a hair dryer at a later time.

Well, if you go with 89-91 TII rotors, 9/0:1, then it should be pretty close with the port, but 87-88 rotors are pretty low: 8.5:1. What do you have planned? Are you going to rebuild your current motor?
