I think it would be easier to make the mounts than open the engine up, port it out, and make sure everything fits.

I am with the others though, any updates?? I am curious as to EXACTLY what parts you changed out with FD parts because I will be putting mine back together in a little while and would like to know, like the main bearings, oil pressure regulator, etc..

What is the power difference between the 13b re and the rew?? Im very interested in what it would take to install the engine into an fd or a little more detail on the lim, uim and throttle body.

CosmoRE = 225 Stock

FDREW = 255 Stock

Through the grapevine I hear the turbos are slightly different and it was probably mostly tuning that gave it the lower number.

With a rebuild like your talking about doing, you would use all the FD parts except you would change to cosmo plates.
