I have an RX-7 (1st or 2nd gen) and $10,000. I have 4 days to build "THE ULTIMATE AUTOCROSSER" What is the best way to go?



Obviously as much TIRE as possible, and a super stiff suspension are 1st. The issue comes with the motor.



I hate to say it, but a big v8/automagic combo seems like the best setup. Your mission is to prove me wrong. What motor/trans setup would you put in "THE ULTIMATE RX7 AUTOCROSSER"?

 

something that can rev. Gear it so everything is 2nd and 3rd. 3rd tops out at 80 or 90 kph and you would be in the money
