Talking

I just finished my auto to manual swap about 2 weeks ago. And have now decided that I need to go for the mother of all swaps. The 2jz- twin turbo into my 7. I know it goes against all of our rotary religion to pt a piston engine in to our car, but it would be the best of both worlds. 2800lb car with an 800-1000 hp motor inside = insanity!

has anybody else successfully completed this swap before???

If so what problems did you have?

Please any advice will help.

I hope you have money! I've heard the supra trannies aren't much stronger than rx7s ones, and the rear end you are going to be blasting apart. So guru tranny, 9 bolt rear end. This is going to be a drag only car right? 800-100hp... Have you ever ridden around in an rx7 with 400-500rwhp? Talk about more than enough power on the street...

400-500 hp is alright. I've ridden in a supra with around700-800 and damn. The only people that I've seen do this swap before is sp-engineering. We'll see how it goes.

Yeah its pretty pointless to do the swap...

If you are set on getting rid of the rotary, do a V8...they sell swap kits for it!
