Well the wireing is finally starting to come along, and it's looking like it is about 1-2 days away from being done with that.

is the insuracne under ur parents name...also...ur paying that w/o full coverage...full coverage would be a lot more expensive, plus i don't think 125 a month is cheap....thats 1500 a year....my rx7 which is under my name(title and insurance) is 800 a year...and i'm 19 and live in NJ, but i do have a perfect driving record

Ws insurance brought up in this thread? I'm to lazy to read all three pages again, and I can't remember.

Anyways, yes it is under my parents name, and yes it is for minimum coverage, and the reson I don't get full is because, once I get it on the road (hopefully) as long as I don't wreck it within like the first year or something like that, the difference of the two would have bought me a new car. But it is just because I am 16, male, and have s sports car. If I were a female, and drove a ford fiesta, I'm sure it would be way less.

OK time to update with some more pictures:

Those are of a mercury sable radiator, out of a 3.0 liter, with a 3.8 liter Ford Taurus/Sable fan. The radiator is REALLY thick. It is acctually a 2 row, and a little over 2" thick, so it will cool the engine very nicely. It was lucky that I got that one to, because I was pulling a smaller 1 row radiator that was 1/2 as thick out of a tuarus, and I looked at the sable to see if it's radiator was easier to get out. And I started to look at it, and thought, DAMN that thing is friggen THICK. So it was a good thing that I found it

And there is the begining of my tubular exhaust manifold that my brother is building for me. So far runners 4/5 are done (he started those first because they have the shortest pipe with just as many bends)

But I can take credit for cutting out the header flange/tang divided T4 flange.

BHG, what's that

With $150 bucks you can fix that problem for ever.

I'd really like to see you put down the numbers you claim.

The engine will maybe hit 500...hell, it'll maybe hit 600. It will not hit 650 on stock internals. You're going to end up spending over $10,000 just to hit your mark on a 7M reliably.

250k miles? Uh, I think not. These motors are notorious for eating valve seals, and there is no way you gonna hit 250k without replacing them again, if not twice.

Basically, you gained the strength of the W-series transmission, which is legendary...but nothing else.

I can do 20B installs with about the same amount of money you've spent so far and give you a run for the money. If we up the budget for turbos, I'd smoke almost anything you can do to the 7M with better reliability.

How's that for bench racing?

OK, my HP guesses/hopes are a off yes, but it's a hope, and I'm pretty sure I was being sarcastic, I know the internals wouldn't hold that....

I'm realistically shooting for around 450 HP.

And have you ever owned a 7M???? My brother NA has 180,000 miles on it, and it doesn't burn an once of oil, and has never had anything other than regular tune ups... So how are they hard on valve seals? A statement that generallized is hardly ever true!

And so that is all I gained from this swap is the tranny strength??? I don't think so! I got something that doesn't sound like a jetson's car, has torque, and has better HP capability. Not to knock the rotary, but the 7M is twice as big...

And I'll put money on it, that if you are in the US, you can't do a 20B swap for what I have in this car! I haven't even cross $2,000 yet! Don't BS me and tell me you can do a 20B swap which will cost $4500 for the front clip alone, let alone all the custom parts inbetween. And you saying it could smoke almost anything I can do to the 7M, WITH better relaibility... I've never seen a fully tuned 20B, but I've seen a 7M just short of 800 HP. It probably wasn't that reliable, but if a 20B make that and be reliable, I would like to see it, I'm not saying it can't, I've just never seen it!

Hummm, anyways, here is pictures of the latest progress the IC/radiator are mounted.
