a) you gave up on the rotary and you butchered a t2.

b) you butchered a supra and tore its heart right out.

Worst of both worlds. I'm disappointed in you.

lol jk man actually i think thats awesome. It's always nice to see some custom work. And by custom i mean not just a v8 swap.

Well butchered a TII, kinda, it was a pile anyways so it didn't hurt me

Ripped a supra's heart out, NOT HARDLY!!!

I let a supra live on in another car! The car that this engine came out of, has had it back end wrapped around a phone poll, and had also benn rear ended The poor thing.

So all I did was give it a new body so it can live another day

Shutup hoe

Your still in the stages of delima

I mean really, do you know that your car is so freakin big that is has to have a mid shaft bearing!!! Usually only vehicles over like 5000lb's have those.

But I must say, my brother supe is very luxourious, and sporty. And I do like the supra's, so don't think I bashing them, because if I didn't have a 7, I would have a supra. But hey, now I have both

By the time you finish the swap you can have a RELIABLE rotary FD that puts out 500whp.

Did they make magical refinments to the FD. Because I'm pretty sure a 500 HP rotary isn't all that reliable. But then again I guess it all depends on your definition of reliable. What is yours?

my god...you dont even own a rotary!!

Have you ever even driven one!!!!

yes I have driven an fd, yes it felt nice and smooth, yes I liked it very much. But as soon as you work it to put out 500rwhp I wouldnt give a donkeys *** for the engine life.

you think you can have relible 500rwhp fd? maybe with titanium parts and ceramic seals and a magic wand....

LET ME ASK YOU SOMETHING, do YOU own a 500rwhp fd?

indeed... I want a 500rwhp car that I can punish and it will last me over 100k miles. If a rotary could do that, CONSECUTIVLY and not just once in a while by luck or chance or extraordinary craftsmanship of a godly mechanic, then I would keep the rotary in.

Sounds like you need a 2JZ

But I'm not bad mouthing the rotary's, they are amazeing engine, but they are on a different level, they put out more power per cubic inch than any other stock engine in most cars out there.

If they made a 3 liter rotary, imagine the power and reliability it would have, but they don't. And they most likely won't. But if a piston engine were as small as a rotary it would never make as much power nor would it be as reliable.

thats a supra engine if I am not mistaken. I would prefer something that sits a little lower... great engine no argument though.

Please don't build a supra7.Theres one out on the road as it is and thats bad enough. The yellow FD that they had to destroy with the 2JZ swap.I like the 7M swap if it didn't require butchering you firewall.Thats my only beef with it.Just remember what I posted here about getting by your stock fuel cut and headgasket problems.

yeah i am not to much in to the idea of building a supra fd, but I am being torn apart here. One part of me wants a rotary because of all the sweet things you can do to it, and it has its benifits. The other want a relible car, and dont yell at me that fds are relible, I have been around long enough to know how long a 500rwhp fd would last.

I am really torn. On one side rotary and its simplicity in working with and high power, then there is the piston engines with torque and stability..... I feel like I want to throw up, this is the hardest desision I have yet had to make in my life....
