what torque curve more like it.

as cool as it would be to see a ***** with a 13b it doesnt sound like it would work well for offroading. with low torque outputs rock crawling sounds like a challenge.... i could be wrong though.

sounds like a cool project and hopefully someone here can help you out

well my old flathead has about 69 horses and about 70 ft lbs of torque and it crawls well. its all about low gears to bring the torque up. i think a rotary should be able to match or exceed those numbers dont you think?

It would definitely be unique. I think it would be fun out on the sand dunes or in the mud.

You could probably just go to a local junkyard and get a bell housing. depending on your location, you might find lots or rx7's at the junkyard..

the rotary has a pretty flat tork curve, the 86-88 non turbos have 146hp@6500 and 133lbsft@4000? of tork
