thanks! you are the BEST!! LOL!!

yes, the GM sensors. most parts stores around me have idiots working there. they can not look anything up. they will ask question about if i know if the car it came in had a/c or a cigarette lighter or some dumb **** like that... even if i have the part numbers... but i would still like to know what they are.

i went to pep boyz and gave him applications until i found the one that they stocked, they all work the same its just a matter of what the store stocks. the air temp sensor pep boyz stocked was for a 94 zr1 vette. for the ect the mazda one works, and i trust it more than the giant p.o.s. gm part

the o2 sensor is generic, you can use anything. i'm not sure about the water temp ones, the 3/8th one is prolly the more commone one. i used the mazda water temp, it works fine

i have already tapped the housing to fit the 3/8ths one. i know the mazda one is about 10-15% off and not a big deal...but since i had the sensor already.. i figured i would use it.

as far as O2 goes. i thought that it was universal, but when trying to get one, a call to rx7.com told a different story??? they said you HAD to use that one and could not explain why. i guess b/c they would not be making any money off of a purchase at a local autoparts store. :smirk:

yah i guess, the o2 doesnt really matter a lot, you are only using for cruise anyways. and you can set the perameters of the o2 sensor in the haltech so you can use anything
