Thanks for the info, Ryan. I'm gonna check tomorrow afternoon to see if I can find the 'pink #'. Also, I noticed that my a/f is nearly ALWAYS pegged out at .99 under full throttle. The only time I've seen it go below was on the 'high' setting, when it fell to .96, which is still way to rich. I know the O2 is not a reliable tool persay, but I was thinking about leaning it out to around .90. Any thoughts there? shoud I just let sleeping dogs lie on that one? I'm thinking I can get away with more leaning out at my altitude, because of the lower oxygen density in my charge. Even all stock was running waaaay too rich.

 

don't go by your O2 sensor its a narrowband. its stoich rich or lean..... you will break something...

 

So I'm just gonna lean it out a little, but if it shows something other than rich I'll increase the fuel.

Just curious why a ported motor has less fuel at idle than a stock port? I would think that a ported motor moves more air in, needing more fuel.

 

Because the air is not adjustable, so the bigger the hole the more air you will get.

And fuel, you have to adjust the flow if you want more, so with a ported engine you can move more air with out any adjustments but you have to add the fuel youself, so you see with more air but not any more fuel you go lean.

 

Okay, that's what I thought.. it looks like Ryan wrote it the other way around?

Looks like he has less fuel going into a ported motor? Or am I confused?

 

Look dont break your motor. Idle map I gave you is correct. If you lean your car out your are going to braek it BOTTOM LINE. But dont take my advice just call me when you get that nice lawn mower sound

 

Alright bro, I'll just lean it out to -10 or -12 at idle and call it a day. Oh, and I would call PFS for a new motor, but mine's still under warranty.
