I originally posted this in the other Forum but 3 days with no response.

I have been tuning and looking more closely at the Acceration enrichment settings. In the Manual it says that enrichment values are measured using Previous enrichment value - (minus) decay time. Could someone please make this clearer as to what this means.

I think I have a grasp on it but would just like to hear what some others think about it.

i wonder what decay time is? are they saying its a percentage of the fuel it would be getting anyways? like

fuel for rpm & load

---------------------- = accelerator pump?

time

The number known as decay time serves two functions........from what I understand. The Decay time value is the amount of time that it stays at that value before dropping to the next lowest value.

On acceration it the enrichment value is the Highest allowable value for that RPM . Light acceleration and the like are using the previous value minus the current decay time.

Well that is how I understand it......there is more to it than that but I just cant put it into words..........someone please help!!!!!
