ECU HELP!
#1
Whats up guys....
I'm swaping a S5 into my FB. I have a S5 ECU and a S5 wiring harness. The ECU has 3 places to put plugs into. The engine wiring harness plugs into the first two, But the third spot is empty.... that's my problem!! what go's there. the power & ground hook ups???
Do I need to some how find the other part of the harness???
Do any of you guy's know what pins on the last connector need to be hooked up??? anyone have a diagram or anything??? I'm so in the dark here ...
Any info would be a big help.... thanks.

Cool swap, I have an 82 with an S-5 T2 swap, running the stock ecu. First go to fc3s.org. They have a ecu voltage check list, which call out each pin and their function. You a 1,2, and 3 block of pins. 2 is the smallest, 3 is the largest with 26 pins. Two of them come directly from the motor and the third is from the body, interior, and gauge. cluster, So you need that plug as well. I think it is #1 block. The #1 block bring in the power to the ecu and also running the coil signals. If you are not running emissions you can safely remove at least 26 wires I have and it runs fine. It takes some research and some planning, but it is definatively do able, I started my swap the first week in jan and had it running march13th.
Hope that helps
