on the front and rear housings the 5th and 6th ports are above the 3rd and 4th and I read that you are running a 4port t2 lower intake manifold. I was wondering if you port matched the manifold to the engine?
and if you did, on the housings you can taper the area in between the ports to allow the air to flow better

i did port match the t2 manifold to the 6 port engine, this took quite some work to shape the runner to flow smoothly to the aux ports, you really have to get in deep and work the runner. this was one time deal, i would never do this again. imo its just not worth the time and the effort, the reason i did this at the time was because the ownder was originally goign to go with a stock turbo and manifold and he wanted it all to bolt up, so the t2 intake manifold made sence as at the time i didnt have time to make him a custom intake manifold.
i did not taper the area between the secondary and aux ports, the engine plates were left stock just incase if there was going to be another manifold used on the engine. so yes if you taper them i am sure it would flow a little better. but again i woudlnt recommend porting the t2 manifolds for a na as this is too time consuming and what you end up with is still not a very good intake manifold setup. hope this answers your quastion.

sweet, I was wanting to know that because some one told me if I run a turbo intake manifold I would have better flow on my n/a, but if it is time consuming and doesn't help that much on power I'm not going to do it now thanks for the reply

so i have been reading up on this and am very intrested. I wanted to make close to 200 WHP with out anything more than a street port done to the engine. This looks good but have you got a MPG rating yet? I love N/A but if i can get 20 MPG highway with a turbo that pushes 200+whp i would rather do that. Let me know how this thing runs around town. Good work and love the numbers.

gas milage is not affected to a measurable amount with a stage1 port

im working on a 4 port n/a, hoping to get around 275 - 300whp with NOS. (200 - 225whp without NOS) would an engine build similar to this, except being 4 port, and with a more agressive streetport easily be able to put out around 225whp?
