Here at real deal motorsports we just finished working on a customers car. 1988 turbo II using the factory Rx7 3 speed automatic tranny. The tranny has been torn apart and worked to take up to 900rwhp by a company called Level 10 transmissions. Excellent company.



Mods are.. streetport 4 port engine.

t72 turbonetics ball bearing turbo

front mount intercooler

550cc primaries 1600cc's secondary injectors

dual inline fuel pumps

3 inch full exhaust to the back

Microtech ems tuned by Marcel

Car makes a solid 420rwhp at 13.5 lbs of boost as seen on the data log. Boost gauge was actually saying 12lbs.



I'll try to have the dyno sheet posted.

Took the car for a test drive and runs awesome for being an automatic.



Engine was built with solid pins to prevent the rotor housings from walking.

car was going to be tuned for higher boost. decided to let the customer enjoy his new toy and later raise the boost and back on the dyno.

What kinda boost can you build from a dead stop?

I take it brakeboosting eliminates the need for 2 stepping?

 

probably has a line lock installed.



Needs more injector and near 600rwhp.

im maxing my 550/1700cc out,what power u think im making if ur making 420rwhp easy on that combo,im running 25psi with a 70mm turbo?
