There is a guy in Georgetown who does this to 7's... he tried to tell me that it was much faster than the rotary! So I'm talking at him one day and he says that his (with the V8) is an automatic, it doesn't occur to me to ask why. When he left one of the guys working with me knows him sort of and tells me that he has a 4-speed one too, but he stalls it every time he pulls into the parking lot. hmmm... enough said!

They are fast but whats the point of owning and rx and not having a rotary engine in it??Thats the point of having one.You might as well wedge that V8 into a chevette if you want power to wieght for racing.
