The stock FD hood? You can curl it with your index finger. I'm not joking. most of those ViS (half-CF) hoods weigh more, like you need to use two fingers. The real CF hoods (Rotary extreme, RE-Amemyia, etc) you can curl with your pinky. good enough?

IMHO, the best reason to get an aftermarket hood is to vent the engine compartment, not for weight.
