you lay down the intercooler..... its weird. the race cars have vents for it. so it works properly

Rotary Extreme Vmount: $2200 specia group buy price

In general V mount has the following advantage over SMIC and FMIC:

1. Cold air from the mouth of the bumper feeds directly to radiator, intercooler, and intake. Yes, all 3 of them.

2. Overheating problem will not occur like with FMIC.

3. Even though the intercooler is still positioned inside the engine compartment, it's much less likely to be heat-soaked simply because the hot air exiting the radiator is not pointing directly at the intercooler like the regular SMIC.

4. There is no intercooler duct that blocks the exit of the radiator.

Disadvantage: Can't think of any

Thanks for the compliment. It looks nice and works well. It's just hard to market it because it's so new to the US customers. Most people don't even know what V Mount stands for. If it becomes popular later on and all the other US companies are making it, remember who brought this idea back to the US. =)

What about the IC SR Motorsports had for sale for a long time?

SR Motorsports IC

Not trying to detract, but don't know that we can credit you with bringing it to the states...

If I am correct here, that is just a SMIC, while the rotaryextreme kit basically "flips" the radiator around so it feeds the air through both.
