Since i'm gonna be driving it aswell, i think you should go with the V-mount. i like the https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bling.gif and the no-big-intercooler-in-the-front-look so it looks like a sleeper

FD will never be a sleeper.

If you have the money, go with teh VMount.

IF not, a FMIC is just as good...

Vmount seems like a new trend these days

true... FD's can't be a sleeper, but so it'll be sleepier https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif i guess. But atleast for the V-mount, martin cause use the hood scoop

Damn, I don't know. FMIC, major intimidation!! VMIC, makes you lightheaded when you pop the hood, that is the hot **** there!! I can't imagine there would be that much of a difference between the two performance wise. If I had unlimited funds, I would go Monster V-mount from Rotary Extreme. And if you still like how the FMICs look you can get the twin Monster Oil coolers. With the right front bumper that would look rediculous!! Kinda like my avatar!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

from what i hear front mounts cause more problems dont they. they block air from getting to the radiator. never had one but this is what ive heard.

Some people have had problems.

That seems to be the minority though..

I don't think the benefits outweight the cost. A car with a front mount and properly ducted upgraded radiator should not overheat. That and no matter what you do, any intecooler in the engine bay is going to heat soak.

i did have overheating problems when i installed my fmic. i had to cut the stock bumper to make it fit. my power fc said it was anywhere between 95 deg celcius and 105 degrees which is too hot. i then crashed my car but i get it back pretty quick here and i put on the mazdaspeed gtc kit. it has a big mouth on it and should eliminate that issue. plus when i got enough dough im getting the feed vented hood...

i always wanted to go vmount but just thought of that it would make working on the motor harder, crammed engine bay. i really think its preference though.
