im in the process of building up my car ..... with a single turbo and ported engine

money is kinda tight and i have a great great deal on a Vmount intercooler setup, but i can save about 800 dollars if i go with a front mount.

i've been very excited about the V mount but reality might come into play, i can afford both, but i can afford a F mount sooner.....

V mount = More Bling

F mount = More Bigger (not by much)

opinions are welcome

I've been VERY happy with my V mount. It's a rotary extreme kit. Very

I haven't been able to enjoy it because my motor go boom...

It sure does look nice though...

On the last trip my car took, I was very happy with the cool temps. Also for the first time my IC and rad were very cool to the touch. It's a little more $ but I thought it was worth it. Pic is in my gallery.

Thanks Chuck

it really depends on what you want to do with the car... with a v-mount or a front mount, you wouldn't have to worry about heatsoak so much. i think it all comes down to engine cooling.

i personally lean towards a v-mount or horizontal mount setup. sharing the incoming air between the rad, ic and intake should lead to everything one would want. of course, v-mount and h-mounts are kinda spendy, but you know how it goes with paying more and getting more.

in my mind, v-mount is the way to go when choosing between v-mount and front mount.

front mount for me all the way. No way in hell a v-mount IC will fit with a 20B conversion....unless the IC is REALLY small.

Martin, remember what we talked about a while ago. You shuold just get a Spearco core and do a V-Mount setup for about the same money and some fab skills for the same price as an FMIC setup.

I'm partial to H-Mount's, **** I can't wait to get my car.
