That should come still attached to the tranny.

Try to find someone local to you that is parting a car out. Either try to buy all the major parts from the same person to maybe save on the price.

I had the swap done about 9 months ago.

I found my tranny at this website www.car-part.com

I got a 95 5 speed tranny for 575 shipped with 90 day warrenty.

I bought a new ACT clutch and 9.5 lb flywheel

mazdatrix Short shifter, momo shift boot, mazda speed carbon shift ****

manual drive shaft

manual differential (don't skip this) you can, but it's not a tru manual with out it!

manual computer

5 speed guage cluster

brake pedal

clutch pedal

slave and master cylinder

stainless steel clutch line

i spent about 2500 in parts and 1000 labor

I need a few extra parts. Some inner boot for the shifter, new bolts that hold the tranny to engine. Automatics bolts are to short. all the fluid.

Hardest part is finding all the parts at a good price.

you shuold find another fd that already has a manual transmission. looks like its a lot of work for a stock car...... just imagine you can use all that money on faster things

I think she already has the car. If so, she is stuck with it. I could not give my auto away. Like I said you can do the swap for well under $2000 if you do the work yourself. Not only is it a diffrence performance wise, but I blew my first motor due to the auto tranny. You can't control the boost in between shifts once you start modding.
