I pulled this wire out of my '93. It is a male/male antenna wire extension. It is obviously broken, but what I am trying to figure out is this a stock part that I would have to get through Mazda (& if so does anyone know what the part # is?)? Or is this an after market part that I can get at like a Best buy or something? When I got my FD it already had an after market Panasonic head unit in it. Thanks for your help in advance.

 

Looks aftermarket. just depends on what you want. if your trying to keep it stock go to a dealer. if you need aftermarket get that

 

It doesn't matter to me whether it is stock or after market, I just need a new one! I did check into it at a local Audio shop & they said they didn't have it & they weren't sure if it was stock or not. Do places like Best Buy or Circuit City sell things like this?

 

Those stores may have it, as it is looks to be something that I bet is commonly needed to install aftermarket stereos.
