Cheapest thing is to put some of the stock stuff back on until you can afford the Power FC.
Negative, Ghost Rider.

I'm gonna do the home depot version and tone down the boost until I've saved enough for a PFC or at least a ProfecB. Should only take till the end of summer. Trying to buy a house too... it's a bitch. [/quote]

guys, perhaps i missed the solution because i'm running into the same problem at around 5000 RPMs.

So i have heard "take the pill out" to cut boost, no Fun, but curious to which pill (is it the brass one inside the line to the main turbo actuator?, or one of those green in-line one, near the intake manifold.

Second i heard buy a PFC, that frankly scares me, fuel mapping and all is the only thing that scares me. Plus the $$$$$ of course

third bigger secondary injectors. (I am running an M2 ECU so would it have to be reprogrammed for the bigger injectors?)

Any other options?

Quite New to this joint but, I have the same, plus worse i had a fuel filter clogged so there was no pull on 1st and 2nd.

MODS - 4" core front mount cooler, 2 apexi cones and MANUAL BOOST CONTROLERS, but the once I have a pretty crap as they help to adjust the boost until I get a PFC but they are pretty limiting. Picked them up from halfords on sale .

The problem is that as you unscrew the controler to lower boost it reaches a point where it unscrews itself from the base and acts the opposite way! Hope you get what i mean.

I hoped that the big cooler will consume some of the boost but verry little 0.5psi if that.

so cheap solution is to get 2xmanual boost controlers to replace the pills

good luck
