i bought padding to even out the floor and to insulate my feet from the heat. and winter driving. i also bought some aerosol adhesive spray to make things a lil easier.

im thinking of maybe gluing a plastic peice or something aluminum for under the driver foot so the carpet wont get worn out so easily...

I used a double layer of dyna-mat under the driver and passenger sides before I put the pad down.

That scotch spray glue works great, spray 90 or 77 or whatever it's called, once the glue stops bubbling its ready to go.

I have the cut-pile replica of the original in my car, it isn't the greatest quality so I just bought some thick woven wool floor mats for temp. use.

Which reminds me, my upholstery guy never delivered my new floor mats, that was like last year, gotta go bang on his door tuesday morning.

thanks for the idea.... i dynamatted the rear of the car and where the bins used to be to reduce road noise.... i guess i should do the floor also.

i have 120sq. ft. of it, and i used 20sq ft to do the trunk and bins... lol

lol, you're set, but all the fun work is done now, I love the demo part, it's putting it all back nice that takes all the time.

Using unmolded carpet might be a pain when trying to avoid wrinkles and what not. Pics?!
