Anyone else have this issue?

I constantly over rev my car. Because I have a hard time feeling where redline is, so as a result it's constantly bouncing off the rev-limiter whenever I give it gas. The car feels like it just keeps making power pass 8,000.

I have two dyno's, one in 3rd gear and one in 4th gear and they both indicate that my peak power is where the dyno stops (~8k), which mean that the power curve is really shifted to the right.

Although I have no proof via dyno printouts, I would say that my FD is MOST powerful when it's bouncing off the rev limiter. I assumed that was the reason for the redline buzzer.

Weird. Stock twins just don't make power up that high. Usually peak power is around 7500, where it falls off after that. I suggest turning the rev limiter up to 8500 or so, and shifting at 8k. This will help reduce bouncing off the limiter, which isn't the best thing.

FWIW, I used to shift the stock turbos/engine at right around 9000~ for ***** and giggles. I have my redline set at 12000 rpms.
