so i called the guy with this car yesterday http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_...or=&cardist=200

he tells me that they didnt make an r1 model until 94 but that this one got all of the suspension upgrades when the 94s came out. he also said that they didnt make touring models until 94. so everyone who thinks they have a touring or r1 93 you are wrong! He also thought it necessary to tell me why rotary engines are unreliable (after i told him that i drive an 89). he said there are 2 reasons. the first one is that they burn more oil than piston engines so people dont check it until its too late. the other reason is that people run them too hard when they are cold. i gave him my email, which ends in @nopistons.com, so maybe he will check out the site and see us flaming him!

He's probably just passing on crap data that he gathered from other ignorant owners.. I can't tell you how many stupid things I've heard about RX7s LOL

true...but how many of those stupid things come from rx owners?? usually from ppl who only say theyre looking for one.(thats what they always tell me anyway)
