Painting Wheels?

i didnt.. just use index cards and place them around the wheel, blocking off the tires

There are some Du-Pont spray paint stuff just for wheels. I see them in car mags all the time.

I did mine at my friends body shop. took off the tires, cleaned the wheels with soap and water, used a scotchbrite pad to scuff them abit. Mixed the 3 colors together, sprayed them, baked them, then hit them with some clear, baked again, DONE 3 years not 1 chip

powdercoating rims is THE ****. It comes out super glossy and it's pretty good and resisting nicks and scratches and peeling and such.



The nicest powdercoat i saw was on "orange county choppers" when they painted the black widow bike's rims red, oh **** they were hot.

Thanks for all of the info guys! Ill probally go the cheap way and Spray em and use index cards like benny.

the poor mans wheel mod! i did mine in 30 mins.. haha with a lift and some air tools
