besides taking of an oil line and watch oil squirting out (or not).



Maybe this is one more reason to go premix.

If it is not working at all, you will get a check engine light and the car will be in limp home mode.

I've always premixed "just in case". But I'm not really sure (Other than the code) of any signs of failure.

what if you have a stand alone ecu? will it still turn on the check engine light?

the power fc will show you if it is working ok by using the commander. It's part sof the sesor test screen. The only way to really tell is to see if there is oil in the lines. If there was no oil pumping the lines would be empty. Premix is your friend. Oh and if your pump is bad, I have one that works fine I can sell

I just prayed that mine was working on my last car



but I didn't want to take a chance so I used premix at every fillup once I redid the engine bay and realized how important the omp was and I had no way to test it.



Use about .75 of an ounce of premix for every gallon.



example 10 gallons 7 ounces is great. may be overkill but hey I dont want a low compression motor
