Oil Catch Cans
#11
I have the jazz mini pint catch can with the breather on top.
I haven't installed it yet but it's on the list of things to do...
Here's the how to link I'm using:

i run as many open track events as my wallet will allow.... been using a Jaz pint catch can w/ top mounted breather/filter for years... pretty cheap, works great, won't shatter and throw glass everywhere.

Your the second to go with the JAZ product and it seems to be reasonably priced. Some of the info I've come across recommends a vented setup as well. Looks like JAZ it is.
Thanks to all for the input.

[quote name='Signal 2' date='Feb 14 2005, 05:08 AM']I appreciate the "thrift" in this, and a pretty one won't make your car go any faster. But I'm wondering if that would pass a tech inspection?

Yea jokes aside Jim your definitely right. This would not pass tech. Lucky for me the dont open hoods at MIR.

[quote name='Fd3BOOST' date='Feb 13 2005, 07:29 PM']I don't track much Jim, at least not on a real "track" anyway. Here is the trick, I use a beer bottle. I've been using it for over a year and It works well, never had any problems with it sliding around or anything. I empty it out once a week or so. Cost me $7.99 for the six pack and the hose I had lying around. You can pay for a nice shiney one i suppose but why bother when a beer bottle or can delivers the exact same result, well you don't get to catch a buzz off the shiney metal one.

It makes me kinda weary that the guy i line up against might have a loose glass bottle under their hood. What if that were to dislodge under a hard launch, fall out and pop your rear tires? then when you loose control and hit me it will not be pretty...
now if it was a AL beer can that would be a different story!
