So I just took the engine out of my car. It had 30k miles on it after it was built by A place in Florida. I think it was pettit but I am not sure at the time. I do have the receipt of the engine work costing $6500 in 2000. It was Streetported with 3mm seals.

Now I am not sure what to do with it. I don't have the time to rebuild it. The cost of a rebuilt engine seems a little high considering theirs nothing wrong with it except a blown o-ring. Or I could sell it and Buy a new block. Which is the best option. It is a daily driver so the ported engine really isn't something that I am very interrested in. Just looking to getting it back on the road!

Advice is greatly needed. Thanks

cheapest way to go is buy a reman from ray at malloy mazda for about 2150. you could sell your old engine or just send it in as core.
