I'm going full nonsequential, and noticed a protrusion in the exhaust manifold. It is a small tube about 1/4" in diameter, and about an inch long. The tube goes from the exhaust manifold and connects to the rear rotor housing. From there, it goes into the rear side housing and up to the egr valve. I've had my egr valve blocked off for some time now, and as I've thought about it more, I think it may be a good idea to get rid of this tube alltogether. The rear rotor is usually the one to detonate, and the rear rotor is the one that gets the egr gas. Also, the little tube in the exhaust manifold seems like it would be a little more restrictive to the exhast flow. Would it be cool to cut off and weld up this hole, or just cut off the little tube?

on high mileage cars, that tube is gone, cutting it would be fine. the 95 us manifold (and the jdm ones) dont have that tube

Should I bother welding it up?

Hey, that's a good idea. I never would've thought of something so simple. For some reason I like to punish myself by doing things the hard way.

I have every on the LIM block off but the hose that leads from the FPR to a boost source (I used a connecter on the UIM) Also on the UIM every but 4 things are blocked.

They are FPR, MAP, Boost Controller and the gauge. I removed the PCV as the PFC doesnt care.. I just left 4 holes open on my UIM that recieve boost. This should be all I need to have.. from 50 million hoses to 4.. maybe 5.. I may be forgetting something, if i am ill post later. Are you going cut of your TCA door and precontrol door? I did, and had it welded shut. Turbos are easy to put together so if you forget anything I know how to put them together, i did like 12 times.. lol

You chop them hoes off!~ And have hte holes welded shut, increase exhaust flow.. more power.. just cut it off and bloakc of the AWS, ACV, EGR, PCV. If you have the PFC you dont need to use resistors as it doesnt care, so this way you just remove that **** and be on with things.

It's better to cut the TCA out, and weld the precontrol about 90% open. I don't know why exactly, but it's best not to cut the precontrol door all the way out. Definitely get that dirty ***** of a TCA out though. That is about the most restrictive looking thing ever.
