The first two pics are of the wastegate, and the others are of the pre-control door. You can cut or weld/wire open the precontrol.

Yes cut the flapper door off from the inside of the hole and leave the post itself in there. Just cut it as flush as you can get it.

The first pics were the wastegate. If you havent already just trace abouta 1/16" around the flapper when it is closed then port it out up to that line.
