I just got everything put back together on my '93 R1 and now it won't start. It sets there and cranks. I pulled a spark plug and put a little gas in the chamber and it tried to start up untill the fuel ran out. I know I have pressure to the rail since I spent the last 3 hours fixing a fuel leak where the large fuel line bolts on. Can any one help?

Thanks everybody!

The motor is a rebuild from Atkins Rotory. Injectors are stock that has been rebuilt and mapped by Marron. The ECU is stock and I put an Apex'i RX-6 turbo kit on it. Everything else is stock. Somebody had wired two resistors into the wiring harness for the ECU. They tapped into the injector control wires. RotorSport Racing suggested removing them if I was running stock injectors.

So you want to know why the hell I'm running a RX-6 on a stock ECU. One good reason . . . NO MONEY FOR MORE UPGRADES!

This has been a project car for 10 months. I bought it blown so I could build it the way I want. I plan to run the stock ECU with the low boost pressure while the motor is being broken in. After I get a Power FC, it should be about time to open it up to see what my R-1 really can do.

Now, is there any thing else you would like to know before we get back on the topic at hand.

maybe you should take into account that running a STOCK ECU with a SINGLE turbo is going to cause a BIT of a problem. You need to keep waiting and save up for a PFC, if you somehow do get the car running, you won't be able to boost, you'll throw codes all day long and you'll be in LHM all day. Not worth it. You need to learn that doing something right requires money. Dont' half *** your car, or you'll be spending money on a new motor.
