Air Pump Problem
#1
Ok, ive had dual hardpipe intakes for a while, when i put them on, i just disconnected the airpump and plugged the two hoses for it. Well, today i bought some breather filters so that i could hook up the air pump again cause i was tired of the shitty idle and the funky *** exhaust smell. Well, once i put the filters on, when i revved it a bit, it made a really ugly fart noise from the rear filter, i took it off and revved again, and i figured out thats the one that blows air out.. anyhow.. when i took it off, it was loud as hell when the air came out.. with the filter on its still makes noise just not SO loud. When i drove the car, it blew the filter off. The front one (one on the actual airpump) the filter there stayed just fine, since i figure thats the one that sucks air in. So what i dont understand is the damn noise... why didnt it make it with the stock airbox on?

Yep that happens to everyone who installs aftermarket intakes, the stock airbox muffles that sound. the car MOOO'S like a cow LOL,,, Companies like HKS supply this little inline muffler thing with their intake kits to quiet the Moo.
