Have just fitted a induction kit and every thing was ok for about 2 days but now after 4500rpm the boosts drops right down not the normal drop then back up it just drops.

what happens when you release and reapply the throttle? could be a bad check valve.

Sounds like no secondary turbo. I would suspect a vacum leak in or aroud the charge control actuator Or the actual actuating rod is sticking. Also it could be leaking from the 1/4" line that feeds to the charge relief valve. Thats my .02 anywho..

induction kit - do you mean a different intake? which one?

could also be one of the vacuum lines from the turbo to the bov or that other bov looking thing between the turbos and the intake.

or could also be that the rubber lines leading to the bov and crv have developed a crack. mine cracked once while i was installing hard pipes. rubber gets brittle from the turbo's heat.

Check all the above items first! If nothing helps then Tee into the TCA vaccum lines (with 2 boost gauges) that come off the rats nest located behind the thermo sensors on the water neck. At 4500 one boost gauge will read boost and one boost gauge will read vaccum. Report back and we will go from there.

that means its a check valve i think

i had a similar problem it was one of the pills under the upper intake manifold. look around there are plastic pills that look like bobby things for fishing... well sorta make sure all the vaccuum hoses are in tact(not cracked or dislodged)
