I converted my car to none sequential. I am still getting a boost spike. I am running a full 3" stainless exhaust with intercooler, intake and aftermarket computer. Is it spiking because of the full open exhaust or is it my boost controller. Please help me get this under control.

usually its cause of the full exhaust flowing too much for the wastegate.....

I had my wastegate ported when I had my engine rebuilt wth 3mm apex seals and a street port.

I have the new HKS boost controller. The one with the ajustment **** and a power button. The guy that I bought it from says that he has never had one come back that was faulty. Is there a way to test the boost contoller to see if it is fucked?

Alot of people dont have much luck with elec boost controls (well for seq anyway), what computer are you running? What worked for me was setting it up so that the wastegate opened earlier. The twins build so fast that buy the time the wg starts to open your pushing too much boost and spike.

What ecu are you running?
