You can choice either type of pump, several different ways to do it. There are some really nice big pumps out there that drop on the stock location.

when car comes back from porting etc. mods will be ported engine etc, downpipe ( most likely ), and new gt cabback exaust. should this also be the time for fuel? when fuel is upgraded does ecu have to be upgraded with it?

i know i may seem dumb as hell here, but where is the pump on an fd? ( ive only seen my car for a week with hood off ( in the shop sense )

OK like I said with a ported engine you should upgrade the fuel pump.

The fuel pump is in the rear compartment near the spare tire. there is a silver access panel you can open form there to gain entry to the fuel tank.

ahh, so something i can do myself it seems. u have any ideas on which pump i should get? or where to find them that is. when the car comes back ill do that myself
