Hi I am new to Rotarys. My question is what should I look for in buying a FD and what to check out before buying?

aside from the obvious visual stuff..

repaint.. bodywork .. smokes.. leaks.. etc

id check the history and compression..

Check Out the FAQ section. Check for idle quailty and rev it up to 4-5K also. If there is a boost gauge check for correct boost pattern. (10-8-10) (I think?)

boost pattern, compression, steady idle, make sure the gears go in easily, fuel smells
