its not healthy to have a car stored like that, unless of course it was properly stored AKA no fluids kept in it, at all, ever, and in a fully heated garage.

Exactly right! Cars are ment to be driven, sitting for extended periods can cause big prolbems for any part that is ment to be moving, ie. engine, trans, rear-end, supension. For example, I used to own a 72 Chevelle, Just sitting in a heated garage for six months over the winter built up so much varnish in the carb that come spring, I had to dissamble the carb just to clean it so that the car could run.
