Yes, and yes.

But the manual boost controller is easier to adjust than the pill.
I see what you mean now. Sorry, I'm learning a lot as I go and sometimes I get tunnel vision. I think I will go manual. Time to start shopping around

thanks boost.

If you have no pills you'll get about 7 psi as mentioned. The newer cars had the pills bilt into the actuator nipple. Changing the pill affects prespool of the sencond turbo, so it could reduce spike. What it won't do ism affect boost creep. For that you must port the wastegate.

I was kinda thinking that too. I didnt port my wastegate and am gonna try to rig something else up to keep the creep down.

As I am still breaking my engine in (100 miles so far on it) I havent boosted anything over 7psi yet so I dont know how bad the creep is gonna be.

I just think that with only being able to port 1/16" of the wastegate that there should be another way 'cause 1/16" is not much bigger than what is there to begin with.

Scroll down to the gated boost controller for $109 Australian.

You can get it shipped to your house for $143.71

And that is i think the best manual controller i've seen.
