I am trying to stop creep, so I shoud be replacing the pill in the short hose that connects to the actuator right?

The one that has an arrow telling you to insert boost controller.

Port your wastegate. That's the ONLY way to cure boost creep. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif

When I called Mazdatrix to see how much they charge to port if I brought them the turbos they said they never port,

they just change the pills. So I figured I would give it a shot. I mean if it works it was a $6 fix. If not, I'll just make up for

it by not buying the "super happy hour margarita" tonight. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

just take the pills out to start and see what kind of boost pressure you are getting. Then go from there. If boost is good with them out then just leave them out My old car did not even have any in the lines

If you take the pill out complety the wastegate will be wide open and you'll only get about 5-7 psi.

Have you tried a manual boost controller?

jackdhammer 04-25-2003 04:16 PM

No I haven't tried manual. I am using the PFC for boost control right now. Isn't the manual controler one that basicly takes

the place of the pill? It just bleeds off preasure to control boost right? Oh yeah back to the original question, I am looking at the right hose aren't I?

Yes, and yes.

But the manual boost controller is easier to adjust than the pill.
