Went for a drive yesterday and there's a noise coming from the back of my car.

She fills fine to drive, but I turned around and went home

Got home jack her up and found that when my right side tyre spins, there a knocking sound coming from the diff or around that area. So pulled the tyre off and took the brake system off and I tried to take the axle out but it only moved about half an inch.

So now i'm thinking ...Bitch.

Went to the other side of the car and did the same thing. Tyre off, brakes off and took the axle out completely.

Now cames the help bit.

Can I get the diff out with one axle still half in or am I now f#@*ed, or could it be something else.

Please help.
