I think you'll be fine with the borla XR-1 midpipe and the N1 Duals...without that borla though...it'll be stupid loud.

 

yeah the n1 dual sounds great with the stock cat but it will make your ears ring with a midpipe

is that a custom made midpipe? or does borla actually sell it as a midpipe made for the fd? either way, how much is it? thanks!

 

Thats a mod that alot of guys do. They weld a borla x1r into a midpipe top qiut things down abit with out slowing you down.

I am getting mine made by my buddies at PFS.

I think they charge like $300, I am not paying that but I think that is what they charge.

If I put on the pfs exhaust Ryan already put dibs on my Apexi. He likes them loud.

 

Loud, raspy, and nasty sounding in my opinion. Some guys love it though. I ditched it for a greddy sp.

 

If Ryan puts that N1 dual on with a midpipe vs. a borla, he's going to be deaf. He should actually dyno with the PFS and then with the N1 dual, but after I had it and saw the muffler's inlet, I wouldn't use it with a midpipe...it's smaller than 80mm.

 

theres a guy around here with a pfs exhaust and a midpipe, and that thing is super loud too

Hey jspecracer7 I just listened to a down load that I think was your car, from Voskos site. There was no DR Dre in it though.

It was , I think you, talking and swearing at the slow old drivers.



Any ways....your car sound good.....very loud though.

You say its the JIC? what other configuration is with it?

Also what blow off valve are you running? Sounded to me like the HKS SS!?



I heard a JIC before and it was weed wacker raspy. Sounded like crap, but yours did not. A lot deeper.



I had a custom set up on my FC from a popular manufacture here in Ontario Canada. But im not sure what I want to put on my FD.



My FC was very deep, but loud. I want the same with my FD.

It seems though that most FD's i hear sound like weed wackers.

what else is out there that is of that sound set up??



Any one have feed back and possibly sound clips on any of these??



-Apex i GT Spec

-Tanabe racing Medalion

-Blitz Nur spec

-GReddy SP

etc....etc...what ever you can think of.





So come on peeps....lets get out there and make some short recordings of your set up

It helps us out a lot on our decisions.
