YES! The airbag light is on. I need to replace the sensor (so the previous owner told me) The factory horn worked just fine as I said before. I touched it directly to the battery. I've switched it out with a 140dB Air horn. I've tested that horn too and it works. Sounds just like a train. . .especially when your standing directly over it! Would the airbag light have anyhting to do with it?

air bag cars have a clock spring, so that the horn and air bag is always in contact. if you overextend them they break, and the horn and airbag dont work. its behind the steering wheel. it means the steering wheel has been off and put back on wrong.

OK that doesn't sound too bad.

dont be surprised if there is no air bag in there!

im sure the FDs have a module for the airbag that needs to be replaced or reset seperate from the airbag itself, has that light always been on?

The light has been on since I purchased the car about 8 months ago. The previous owner told me that it needed a new sensor and gave one to me with the car. He said it wasn't in any accidents. So the airbag "should' still be there. However, it used to be CLR's old drag car so. . .who knows.
