The development team at Mazda rolled an FC into the design shop, felling inspired from watching cartoons, and stuffed air guns up the tailpipes...



Voila! The FD was born!

there are some similiarities, like how the FTP lights on the FC kinda morphed into the turn signals on the FD and then into the main headlights on the 8 with the pop-ups becoming more stylized then finally disappearing, and the general shape of the side windows followed by a thick b-pillar in both the FC and FD, altho the FD's got more curvy and swoopy (to fit the rest of the car. 'Sides those, i dont see much thats not mechanical, especially not the character lines of the car

dude, i think FB's and FD's are really similar. i think the lines amtch nice and then the wheel base and the paint and the seats and i have trouble seeing ehats what
